Instruction Insurance

I will never use Master Cover Insurance again after 20 years of being a customer with just one small claim. They sqirmed out of their obligations over a measily £196.00 broken drivers window, they said I never informed them I'd changed my car but at first said, if you pay for the repair and send in the invoice with the paperwork for the car change it's "just a formality", we'll reimburse you "it's been a genuine oversight". Then they phoned me back a short time later and said my car was't insured and they couldn't even give me a quote for cover as the companies they use "Groupama" and another cowboy outfit would not cover "Imports"( the car is a Nissan Tiida ).
My policy was paid in advance upto the 31st March 2010 but they would not be honouring it and they would be sending me out a 7 day warning of the termination of my insurance cover. The refund would only be from the 15 December 09 no "sorry it's not our fault", it was just take your 20 years custom elsewhere.
I would strongly advise all driving instructors not to use Master Cover and Groupama's services, I also had to phone around for a new policy which I managed to secure in less than 10 mins and it was over £100 per year cheaper for the same cover.

Welcome to the forums kaizer54
I can understand why you are very hacked off this company,  Angry and it's good to let others know, it's the only way us "little guys" can hit back, as with lots of big companies in the UK, some of them are all smiles and very nice while they are taking your money but simply don't give a toss if you want something back, please let us know your new provider it may help others out, I have used Waveney in the past and they seem to be ok Smiley
